    PosiClean™ Belts

    Gates PosiClean™ Belts are an easy to clean, quieter running, positive-drive replacement for plastic modular belt, flat fabric belting, and unsupported monolithic belting in the food processing industry. PosiClean™ Belts have sealed aramid tensile members to limit belt stretch and a synchronous timing belt construction extending across the full belt width for better torque distribution. Various high performance surface textures are available to meet specific product release, placement, and control needs.

    • Smooth urethane surface allows superior cleaning at the microbiological level facilitating an effective clean-in-place process.
    • Sealed edges and tensile members prevent ingress of microbes.
    • Designed for ease of use in wash down environments – easier to clean and weighs significantly less than plastic modular belting.
    • Ideal for high load applications – aramid tensile cords limit belt stretch and full width drive teeth evenly distribute torque.
    • Available in perforated "de-watering" configuration to facilitate rapid water drainage.

    Our PosiClean™ Belts are a line of easy-to-clean urethane food processing belts designed with sealed tension members and drive teeth across the full belt width for superior strength, quieter operation, and easier cleaning.

    • Positive-drive design handles higher loads at lower belt tension versus flat conveyor belt.
    • Easy installation – can be welded for endless construction or spliced with mechanical fasteners, including Gates PosiLace™.
    • Offered with aramid tensile members which provide high strength and limit belt stretch.
    • Enables direct replacement of most 1” and 2” pitch plastic modular belt.
    • Available in cold temperature and metal detectable resins as well as high strength cord construction.
    • Customization options available, including cleats and surface textures.
