    PowerGrip® HSN Timing Belts

    Gates PowerGrip® Timing belts offer a maintenance-free, economical, and OE quality solution for your conventional timing drives. The trapezoidal tooth profile makes this belt well suited for use in positioning applications. Gates manufactures our automotive aftermarket solutions with the same precision, high grade materials, and processes as our OE procedures to ensure superior heat and contamination resistance and long lasting performance.

    • Fiberglass tensile cord provides high strength, excellent flex life and high resistance to elongation.
    • Strong neoprene bonded to the tensile member for protection against grime, oil and moisture. It also protects from frictional wear if idlers are used on the back of the belt.
    • Shear-resistant neoprene teeth are molded integrally with the Neoprene backing, precisely formed and accurately spaced to assure smooth meshing with the sprocket grooves.
    • Tough nylon fabric with a low coefficient of friction covers the wearing surfaces of the belt to protect the tooth surfaces and provide a durable wearing surface for long service.
