EXCEEDING INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Gates continually evaluates the use of alternative materials and supply chains to enhance product design, and strengthen product and business resilience through innovation. Our global materials database tracks the use of chemicals across all operations. It allows us to identify the use of specific materials of concern and make substitutions wherever feasible. Since 2017, chemical management has helped us to use more sustainable materials in our products and operations.
